Leaf-mine:
A large, full depth transparant light brown blotch that expands
irrespective of the leaf venation. Mine mostly in the distal half
of the leaf, may eventually occupy half of its surface. The mine
often tears in, and the leaf tip is disfigured (Nederlandse
bladmineerders).
Larva:
Details unknown.
Pupa:
The larva eventually pupates in a globular cocoon within the mine
(Nederlandse
bladmineerders).

Distribution
elsewhere: Widespread in Europw including Bulgaria, ? Corsica,
French mainland, Germany, Hungary, Italian mainland, Moldova, Poland,
Romania, Russia Central, East, Northwest and South, Sardinia, Sicily,
Slovakia and Yugoslavia. Also recorded in the East Palaearctic and
Nearctic region (Alonso-Zarazaga in Fauna
Europaea).
