Distribution in Britain: Uncommon, but widely distributed in Britain including Wilts, Oxford, Hants, Norfolk, Inverness and Perth (Mike Ackland, pers. comm.).

Distribution elsewhere: Europe including Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, French mainland, Germany, Norwegian mainland, Poland, Russia - North, Slovakia, Spanish mainland, Sewden, Switzerland and The Netherlands. Also East Palaearctic and Nearctic Regions (Michelsen, 2004 in Fauna Europaea).

Parasitoids: Unknown.
