Larva forming a long, narrow, upper surface mine. Pupation external

Larva:
The larva is described by de Meijere (1926, as nigritella).
Puparium:
Brown; posterior spiracles greatly enlarged, each with 40 minute
bulbs (Spencer, 1976: 395).
