AEGILOPS. [Poaceae]

Fourteen species of Aegilops are recorded in Britain. All are introduced. No dipterous miners are recorded on Aegilops in Britain. Elsewhere the grass-feeding agromyzid Chromatomyia nigra is recorded mining Aegilops. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Aegilops in Britain.
