ALCEA. Hollyhock. [Malvaceae]


Two species of Alcea are recorded in Britain. These include the introduced Hollyhock (A. rosea).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Alcea in Britain.

Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzid Chromatomyia horticola is recorded mining Alcea.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Alcea in Britain.
