ANARRHINUM. Daisy-leaved Toadflax. [Scrophulariaceae]

Only one species of Anarrhinum is recorded in Britain, the introduced Daisy-leaved Toadflax (A. bellidifolium).

No Diptera miners are recorded on Anarrhinum in Britain.

Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzid Liriomyza bryoniae is recorded mining Anarrhinum.

No non-Diptera miners are recorded on Anarrhinum in Britain.

A key to the European miners, based on characteristics of the mines, immature stages and where relevant the larval cases, recorded on Anarrhinum is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa. This includes Liriomyza bryoniae and Antigastra catalaunalis.
