ASTRANTIA. Astrantia and Masterworts. [Apiaceae]

Four introduced species of Astrantia are recorded in Britain. These include Astrantia (A. major), Carnic Masterwort (A. carniolica) and Lesser Masterwort (A. minor).

Only one dipterous miner, the agromyzid Phytomyza spondylii, is recorded on Astrantia in Britain and this in Botanical Gardens.

No British dipterous miners are recorded elsewhere on Astrantia.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Astrantia in Britain.

See HERACLEUM.
