BASSIA. Summer Cypress. [Chenopodiaceae]


Four species of Bassia are recorded in Britain. All are introduced and include Summer Cypress (B. scoparia).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Bassia in Britain.

Elsewhere the polyphagous ephydrid Hydrellia griseola is recorded mining Bassia.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Bassia in Britain.
