Two species of Carum are recorded in Britain, the native Whorled Caraway (C. verticillata) and the introduced Caraway (C. carvi).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Carum in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Phytomyza chaerophylli, is recorded mining Carum.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Carum in Britain.

Elsewhere one British non-dipterous miner is recorded on Carum.
