ECBALLIUM. Squirting Cucumber. [Cucurbitaceae]


Only one species of Ecballium is recorded in Brtain. the introduced Squirting Cucumber (E. elaterium).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Ecballium in Britain.

Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzid Liriomyza strigata is recorded mining Cucumis.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Ecballium in Britain.
