ELEUSINE. Finger millet. [Poaceae]

Five species of Eleusine are recorded in Britain. All are introduced. No dipterous miners are recorded on Eleusine in Britain. Elsewhere the agromyzid Chromatomyia nigra and the ephydrid Hydrellia griseola are recorded mining Eleusine. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Eleusine in Britain.
