FALLOPIA. Bindweeds and knotweeds. [Polygonaceae]


Five species of Fallopia are recorded in Britain. These include the native Black-bindweed (F. convolvulus) and Copse-bindweed (F. dumetorum).

Only one dipterous miner, the anthomyiid Pegomya setaria, is recorded on Fallopia in Britain.

Elsewhere the anthomyiid Pegomya setaria is recorded mining Fallopia.

One non-dipterous miner, Calybites phasianipennella, is recorded on Fallopia in Britain.
