GYMNADENIA. Fragrant orchid. [Orchidaceae]


Two species and numerous subspecies and hybrids of Gymnadenia are recorded in Britain. All are native and include Fragrant Orchid (G. conopsea).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Gymnadenia in Britain.

Elsewhere the scatophagid Parallelomma vittatum is recorded mining Gymnadenia.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Gymnadenia in Britain.
