Four species of Heliotropium are recorded in Britain. All are introduced and include European Turn-sole (H. europaeum).

No Diptera miners are recorded on Heliotropium in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Chromatomyia horticola and Liriomyza strigata are recorded mining Heliotropium.

No non-Diptera miners are recorded on Heliotropium in Britain.
