HOMOGYNE. Purple Colt's-foot. [Asteraceae]

Only one species of Homogyne is recorded in Britain, the introduced Purple Colt's-foot (H. alpina). No dipterous miners are recorded on Homogyne in Britain. Elsewhere the tephritid Acidia cognata is recorded mining Homogyne. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Homogyne in Britain.
