Only one species of Kitaibela is recorded in Britain. It is introduced. No dipterous miners are recorded on Kitaibela in Britain. Elsewhere the agromyzids Chromatomyia horticola and Liriomyza strigata are recorded mining Kitaibela. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Kitaibela in Britain.
