LAGURUS. Hair's tail. [Poaceae]


Hair's-tail (L. ovatus) is the only species of Lagurus recorded in Britain. It is introduced.

No dipterous miners are recorded on Lagurus in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Chromatomyia nigra and the ephydrid Hydrellia griseola are recorded mining Lagurus.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Lagurus in Britain.
