LASERPITIUM. Broad-leaved Sermountain. [Apiaceae]


Only one species of Laserpitium, the introduced Broad-leaved Sermountain (L. latifolium) is recorded in Britain.

No dipterous miners are recorded on Laserpitium in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Phytomyza angelicae and the tephritids Cryptaciura rotundiventris and Euleia heraclei are recorded mining Laserpitium. There is also an unconfirmed record of Phytomyza heracleana on Laserpitium.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Laserpitium in Britain.
