Launaea is not recorded in the wild in Britain. No dipterous miners are recorded on Launaea in Britain. Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzids Chromatomyia horticola, Liriomyza trifolii and Ophiomyia beckeri are recorded mining Launaea. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Launaea in Britain.
