LEVISTICUM. Lovage. [Apiaceae]


Only one species of Levisticum, Lovage (L. officinale), is recorded in Britain and this is introduced.

Only one dipterous miner, the tephritid Euleia heraclei, is recorded on Levisticum in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Liriomyza bryoniae, Phytomyza pastinacae and Phytomyza spondylii and the tephritid Euleia heraclei are recorded mining Levisticum.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Levisticum in Britain.

Elsewhere one British non-dipterous miner is recorded on Levisticum.
