LEYCESTERIA. Himalayan Honeysuckle. [Caprifoliaceae]


Only one species of Leycesteria is recorded in Britain, the introduced Himalayan Honeysuckle (L. formosa).

Six dipterous miners are recorded on Lonicera and Symphoricarpos in Britain. Two or more of these is also recorded on Leycesteria in Britain. A single key is provided to the dipterous mines of all three host plant genera.
