Four species of Leymus are recorded in Britain. These include the native Lime-grass (L. arenarius). No dipterous miners are recorded on Leymus in Britain. Elsewhere the agromyzids Cerodontha incisa and Cerodontha superciliosa are recorded mining Leymus. No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Leymus in Britain. Elsewhere on British non-dipterous miner is recorded on Leymus.
