Only one species of Nicandra is recorded in Britain, the introduced Apple-of-Peru (N. physalodes).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Nicandra in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Liriomyza bryoniae is recorded mining Nicandra.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Nicandra in Britain.
