OSMUNDA. Royal fern. [Osmundaceae]


Royal fern (O. regalis) is the only species of the Osmunda recorded in Britain. It is a native species.

No dipterous miners are recorded on Osmunda in Britain.

Elsewhere the anthomyiid Chirosia histricina, is recorded mining Osmunda.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Osmunda in Britain.
