OXYRIA. Mountain sorrel. [Polygonaceae]


Mountain Sorrel (O. digyna) is the only species of Oxyria recorded in Britain. It is a native species.

One dipterous miner, the anthomyiid Pegomya solennis, is recorded on Oxyria in Britain.

Elsewhere the anthomyiids Pegomya bicolor and Pegomya solennis are recorded mining Oxyria.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Oxyria in Britain.
