Two species of Parietaria are recorded in Britain. These include the native Pellitory-of-the-wall (P. judaica).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Pariateria in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Agromyza anthracina, Agromyza reptans and Agromyza pseudoreptans are recorded mining Parietaria.

One non-dipterous miner is recorded on Parietaria in Britain.
