POLEMONIUM. Jacob's ladder. [Polmoniaceae]


Three species of Polemonium are recorded in Britain. These include the native Jacob's-ladder (P. caerulum).

Only one dipterous miner, Liriomyza strigata, is recorded on Polemonium in Britain (Edmunds, 2007).

Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzids Liriomyza bryoniae, Liriomyza huidobrensis and Liriomyza strigata are recorded mining Polemonium.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Polemonium in Britain.
