POLYPOGON. Annual Beard-grass. [Poaceae]


Seven species of Polypogon are recorded in Britain. These include the native Annual Beargrass (P. monspeliensis).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Polypogon in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Chromatomyia nigra is recorded mining Polypogon.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Polypogon in Britain.
