PULMONARIA. Lungwort. [Boraginaceae]


Eight species of Pulmonaria are recorded in Britain. These include the native Narrow-leaved Lungwort (P. longifolia) and Suffolk Lungwort (P. obscura).

Only one dipterous miner, the agromyzid Agromyza abiens, is recorded on Pulmonaria in Britain and this is also recorded on Borago, Cynoglossum, Echium, Myosotis, Pentaglottis, and Symphytum in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Agromyza abiens and Agromyza ferruginosa are recorded mining Pulmonaria.

One non-dipterous miner is recorded on Pulmonaria in Britain.
