RUDBECKIA. Black-eyed-Susan and Coneflower.
[Asteraceae]

Five species of Rudbeckia are recorded in Britain. All are introduced and include Black-eyed-Susan (R. hirta), Clasping-leaved Coneflower (R. amplexicaulis) and Coneflower (R. laciniata).

Only one dipterous miner, the polyphagous agromyzid Chromatomyia 'atricornis', is recorded on Rudbeckia in Britain.

See BIDENS.

Elsewhere the polyphagous agromyzid Liriomyza strigata is recorded on Rudbeckia.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Rudbeckia in Britain.
