SCUTELLARIA. Skullcaps. [Lamiaceae]


Four species of Scutellaria are recorded in Britain. These include the native Skullcap (S. galerictulata) and Lesser Skullcap (S. minor).

One dipterous miner, Amauromyza lamii, is recorded on Scutellaria in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Amauromyza labiatarum, Amauromyza lamii and Amauromyza morionella are recorded mining Scutellaria.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Scutellaria in Britain.
