SISON. Stone Parlsey. [Apiaceae]

Stone Parsley (S. amomum) is the only species of Sison recorded in Britain. It is a native species.

One dipterous miner, the agromyzid Phytomyza chaerophylli, is doubtfully recorded on Sison in Britain and this is also recorded on Chaerophyllum, Conopodium, Daucus and Torilis in Britain.

See CHAEROPHYLLUM.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Phytomyza chaerophylli is recorded mining Sison.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Sison in Britain.
