SPIRODELA. Greater Duckweed. [Lemnaceae]


Only one species of Spirodela is recorded in Britain, the Greater Duckweed (S. polyrhiza). It is a native species.

The ephydrid Hydrellia albilabris is recorded on Spirodela in Britain and elsewhere.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Spirodela in Britain.
