SUAEDA. Seablites. [Chenopodiaceae]


Three species of Suaeda are recorded in Britain. These include the native Annual Sea-blite (S. maritima) and Shrubby Sea-blite (S. vera).

Two dipterous miners, the anthomyiid Botanophila depressa and the ephydrid Clanoneurum cimiciforme are recorded on Suaeda in Britain.
