One species and one hydrid of Syringa are recorded in Britain. Both are introduced and include Lilac (S. vulgaris). No dipterous miners are recorded on Syringa in Britain. One non-dipterous miner is recorded on Syringa in Britain. Elsewhere one additional British non-dipterous miner is recorded on Syringa.
