TETRAGONIA. New Zealand Spinach. [Aizoaceae]


Two species of Tetragonia are recorded in Britain. Both are introduced and include New Zealand Spinach (T. tetragonioides).

No dipterous miners are recorded on Tetragonia in Britain.

The agromyzid Liriomyza huidobrensis, a polyphagous pest species of ornamental and vegetable crops occasionally intercepted at UK points of entry, is recorded mining Tetragonia.

No non-dipterous miners are recorded on Tetragonia in Britain.
