in Britain: The species was only discovered in Britain in 1970,
and had a scattered northern and eastern distribution, but is now
expanding its range and is fairly common in much of England, including
Bedford (Studham) and Scotland (UKMoths),
Banff, Cambridge, Derby, East Perth, East Ross, East Sutherland,
Elgin, Isle of Wight, Kincardine, Lanark, Mid Perth, North Aberdeen,
North Hants, South Northumberland, South Aberdeen, South Devon,
South Hants, South Lancaster, South Wilts, West Kent and Worcester
(NBN
