Leaf-mine: The larvae feed mainly on Broad-leaved Willowherb mining the leaves (UKMoths).

The mine is described (in Dutch only at present) in Bladmineerders van Europa .

Larva: The larva is described (in Dutch only at present) in Bladmineerders van Europa.

Pupa: Details unknown.

Adult: The adult is illustrated in UKMoths. The genitalia are not illustrated by the Lepidoptera Dissection Group (check for update).

Distribution in Great Britain & Ireland: Distributed locally in England and Scotland (UKMoths) including Hereford, North Essex, North Somerset, North Wilts, South Devon, South Essex and South Hants (NBN Gateway distribution map - BRERC and NE).

Also recorded in the Republic of Ireland (Karsholt & van Nieukerken in Fauna Europaea).

Distribution elsewhere: Widespread in Europe including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Danish mainland, Estonia, Finland, French mainland, Germany, Hungary, Italian mainland, Kaliningrad Region, Latvia, Norwegian mainland, Poland, Romania, Russia - North and Northwest, Slovakia, Spanish mainland, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine (Karsholt & van Nieukerken in Fauna Europaea).

Parasitoids in Britain and elsewhere: Unknown.
