Leaf-mine: A gallery filled with green frass. In the older gallery the frass
turns brown (British
leafminers).
A
narrow corridor. The coiled frass is greenish (blackish brown in
old or dried mines). Generally the entire width of the corridor
is filled up, making the mine rather inconspicuous. The sides of
the corridor are not straight, rather irregular (Bladmineerders
van Europa).
Larva:
Bright green; see Gustafsson and van Nieukerken (1990a) and Schoorl
et. al. (1985a) for an extensive description (Bladmineerders
van Europa). The larva is green (British
leafminers).
Pupa:
Details unknown.
Adult:
Not illustrated in UKMoths (check for update). The genitalia are not illustrated by the Lepidoptera
