Leaf-mine: The reddish frass is linear, later in arcs, finally dispersed (British leafminers). The mine is also ilustrated in Nederlandse bladmineerders and UKMoths.

Pupa: Details unknown.

Distribution in Britain: Common throughout much of the British Isles (UKMoths) including Banff, Bedford, Cambridge, Cheviotland, East Kent, Hunts, Kincardine, Lanark, Mid-west York, Middlesex, North Aberdeen, North Ebudes, North Hants, South Northumberland, South Aberdeen, South Essex, South Hants, South Lancaster, South-east York, Stirling, Surrey, West Kent, West Suffolk and Worcester (NBN Gateway distribution map - BRERC, GiGL, HBRG, JNCC, NE, NESBRC, SNH and SHWRG) and Northern Ireland (Karsholt & van Nieukerken in Fauna Europaea).
