ARGYRANTHEMUM. Paris Daisy. [Asteraceae]

Argyranthemum is not recorded in Britain.

The polyphagous agromyzids Liromyza huidobrensis and Liriomyza trifolii have been recorded in quarantine in Britain (Dom Collins (pers. comm.)).

Elsewhere the non-British polyphagous agromyzids Liriomyza huidobrensis and Liriomyza trifolii are recorded mining Argyranthemum. See also Liriomyza species in Glasshouses and/or Quarantine Interceptions.

No non-Diptera miners are recorded on Argyranthemum in Britain.

Elsewhere one non-Diptera miner, Bucculatrix chrysanthemella, is recorded on Argyranthemum.

A key to the European miners recorded on Argyranthemum is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa.
