HYMENOPTEROUS PARASITOIDS

See Identification key to the Ichneumonidae to the subfamilies of Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera) for diagnostic features of the superfamily Ichneumonoidae and a key to distinguish the families and subfamilies of Ichneumonidae and Braconidae recorded in Britain and Ireland.

All of the parasitoids and their associated host miners included on this website occur in Britain (albeit in quaratine or glasshouses only). The associations themselves, however, may not be British.

There are currently a total of 3,332 host - parasitoid partnerships.

All parasitoid / host miner associations of Chalcidoidea, except Chalcididae, are extracted from the Universal Chalcidoidea Database by Dr John Noyes.
