OENOTHERA. Evening-primrose's. [Onagraceae]

Twenty five species and hybrids of Oenothera are recorded in Britain. These include the introduced Common Evening-primrose (O. biennis).

No British miners are recorded on Oenothera.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Liriomyza sativae is recorded mining Oenothera. See also Liriomyza species in Glasshouses and/or Quarantine Interceptions.

A key to the European miners recorded on Oenothera is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa.
