Four species of Sida are recorded in Britain. All are introduced and include Flannel Weed (S.cordifolia), Queensland-hemp (S. rhombifolia) and Prickly Mallow (S. spinosa).

No British miners are recorded on Sida.

Elsewhere the agromyzid Liriomyza sativae is recorded mining Sida. See also Liriomyza species in Glasshouses and/or Quarantine Interceptions.
