CASSIA. Cassia. [Fabaceae]

Only one species of Cassia is recorded in Britain, the introduced Purging Cassia (C. fistula).

No miners have been recorded on Cassia in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Liriomyza sativae and Liriomyza trifolii are recorded mining Cassia.

A key to the European miners recorded Cassia is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa.
