APOSERIS. [Asteraceae]

Aposeris is not recorded in Britain.

Elsewhere the agromyzids Chromatomyia 'atricornis', Liriomyza taraxaci, Liriomyza strigata, http://bladmineerders.nl/parasites/animalia/arthropoda/insecta/diptera/brachycera/agromyzidae/agromyzinae/ophiomyia/ophiomyia-pulicaria/ and the tephritid Trypeta immaculata are recorded mining Aposeris.

See also Liriomyza species in Glasshouses and/or Quarantine Interceptions.

Elsewhere one non-Diptera miner, Orthochaetes setiger, is recorded on Aposeris.

A key to the European miners recorded on Aposeris is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa.
